　　The National Sports Industry Base was set up in Wenjiang District of Chengdu this Friday, marking that the city acquired an excellent opportunity to develop the local sports industry. It is the first base of its kind in western China and the second one around the country. The base will be made up of three parts including Sports Products R&D Center, Sports Expo Marketing Center, and Sports Leisure Experience Center. At the opening ceremony, 18 well-known domestic sports enterprises inked the cooperative agreements with Wenjiang District. If the 18 items are all put into production, their output value is expected to be 3 billion yuan.
