Yesterday, the sinking part of Chengdu's Land of Abundance (also known as
Tianfu) Square was opened to the public. Residents driving to the Square can park their cars in the carpark located at the 2nd basement storey of the Square and then proceed to the sinking part of Land of Abundance Square using the underground tunnel. From the sinking part of the Square, residents can reach nearby places of interest, such as the City of Brocade Arts Palace and the Parkson Shopping Mall.
Timeslots for Water Showcases @ Tianfu Square:
Mondays to Fridays
Day time, normal water showcase: 11am-12nn; 4pm-5pm
Night time, water showcase with light: 7pm-10pm
Night time, water scenic display: 7:30pm-8:30pm
Night time, normal lighting: 10pm-6:30am
Weekends and Festive Occasions
Day time, normal water showcase: 2pm-3pm
Day time, water scenic display: 11am-12nn; 3pm-4pm
Night time, water showcase with light: 7pm-10pm
Night time, water scenic display: 7:30pm-9:00pm
Night time, normal lighting: 10pm-6:30am
Additional Note: Every year, from May to October, the starting time for water scenic displays and water showcases will be generally postponed for half an hour.
