T.N. Wiesel, laureate of Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 1981, became the visiting professor of Huaxi Hospital on Thursday. It is the first time that a Nobel Prize winner was invited to be a guest professor in the hospital of Sichuan Province. Meanwhile, Huaxi Hospital and World Eye Organization will co-donate RMB1million to Wiesel to set up a lab for cultivating local ophthalmologists.
