　　An investment of RMB5 billion will be input into the development of scenic spots for leisure in Dujiangyan. The focus would be at the construction of holiday leisure resorts and to build multi-functional complexes of ecological tourism, sports, leisure, commerce, conference and accommodation. It is the first investment by the newly established joint venture between the Singapore-based IMC Group and the Chengdu culture and tourism promotion company. It is hoped that the joint venture would optimize rich tourism resources of Chengdu and introduce international tourism management standards. In the future 5 years, the company will contribute to the infrastructure construction and internationalization of the city’s tourism industry.
