Experts amazed by panda's sexual appetite

A female panda at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Southwest China's Sichuan Province has caused a sensation by her love of life's little pleasures.
The panda, Qi Yuan, is 8 years old and the mother of three cubs. In May, she mated with a male panda, but did not give birth, as expected, this autumn.
She made up for it, however, by getting jiggy with another male earlier this month. Panda expert Wang Chengdong, from the Chengdu research institute, said pandas usually mate just once a year, in spring. He said Qi Yuan was clearly an exceptionally sexually active panda and would hopefully give birth this time around.
